*Most cited article in Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly and Atlantic Journal of Communication.

*College “Researcher of the Year” Award, 2004, 2019.

*Selected to attend the Scripps Howard Academic Leadership Academy.

Dr. Kaye  research articles have appeared in such journals as Journalism & Mass Communication QuarterlyJournal of Broadcasting and Electronic MediaHarvard International Journal of Press/PoliticsSocial Science Computer ReviewJournal of Computer Mediated CommunicationAtlantic Journal of  Communication, and Mass Communication & Society.  Moreover, two of her papers are recognized in the Top 100 of the most important works ever published in Journalism & Mass Communication Quarterly, and one is the top most cited article for the journal.
