Full Job Description
We are currently looking for motivated and energetic Journalism & Media Interns to help capture and produce content for WBHOF social media, website, and internal sponsorship/partnership presentations. As a part of our program, interns will have the unique opportunity to experience a first-hand look inside sports, women’s sports, and the entertainment world.
The internship will include but not be limited to capturing behind-the-scenes footage of events, tours, Induction, etc. that take place at and around the Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame. Collaborate with production/creative teams and management staff on various, ongoing projects. Gain insight into the world of storytelling. Assist in generating and posting content on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, and the WBHOF website. Capturing and editing interviews with former WBHOF inductees and current class inductees. Interns will be asked to come up with creative ideas for women’s sports when it comes to video production. As well as, utilizing the unique emotional power of sports to create content for partnership and sponsorship presentations that is fully content based.
This is a non-paid internship for students interested in video production, editing, as well as graphic design.
Work Location:
• Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame – Knoxville, TN
Schedule
• Monday – Friday, some weekends depending on events, induction where content is needed to be captured, edited, and produced, flexible schedule opportunity
Qualifications
• Final Cut Pro (Preferred)
• Adobe Premiere Pro Editing (Preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop (Preferred)
• Microsoft Office (Required)
