The purpose of the Pellissippi State Community College’s Internship Program is to attract diverse candidates to the college who can provide a new perspective on organizational issues and introduce best practices within higher education or a departmental discipline.

WUOT practicum opportunities: 6 students per calendar year
WUOT News 91.9FM is Knoxville’s NPR affiliate. The station accepts two practicum students each semester (Fall, Spring and Summer). Ideally, students work ~2 hours per day – those hours can be flexible anywhere between 8am and 5pm. Students must fulfill 150 hours of work time over the semester. Students also have the option to work on two or three days of the week for a longer stretch, if working every day is not an option. This practicum fulfills the requirements for JEM 492.

The News Sentinel, located Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking news reporters for its competitive summer internship program. Interns will work full-time with the news team for 12 weeks.
