Undergraduate Internships
Are you interested in a mission-driven career? Get your start by interning at UT’s on-campus museum. This spring semester, earn credit hours while gaining hands-on experience and a broad perspective of the museum profession. Internships are open to all majors, with some preferences outlined for certain positions. Areas of specialization include:
Communications
Development
Exhibition Curation
Environmental Archaeology
Exhibitions and Operations
Visitor Services
Arts & Culture Collection
Malacology Collection
Archaeology Collection
Each week you will spend eight hours with your direct supervisor gaining skills in your area of interest. For two hours a week you will participate in group break-out sessions learning from other museum staff members, going on field trips, and rounding out your experience. Details.
